Zaungäste

Es ist doch eine schöne Sache, über Kanzlerkandidaten zu reden und dabei Blutwurst zu essen.

Welcome to a very special theater event: Once a year we invite a group of artists to stay with us and produce for the HLTM. We are interested in different ways of working and various theater aesthetics.

This year’s “artists in residence” are dealing with the phenomena of “body switch” and the opportunity to change gender and bodies in general – to overcome biological borders and to find out about the synthesis of body and power. Come and enjoy a stout and lion- hearted women’s choir who accompanies a very special bodyswitch. Two historical personalities wake up in one anothers body. So, what will happen, Mr. Kohl and Madame Mata Hari?

A Co-Production from HLTM, Mousonturm Frankfurt and Zaungäste GbR. Zaungäste GbR is supported by a multi-year funding from the Cultural Office of the City of Frankfurt.
