Born in Dresden, he studied German language and literature at the TU Dresden after training as a physiotherapist and was a member of die bühne e.V. - das theater der TU Dresden from 1999 to 2001.

In 2001, he began his acting studies at the Vorpommern Theater Academy under Friedo Solter and Herbert Olschok, among others. At the same time, he was a member of the ensemble at the Vorpommersche Landesbühne Anklam.
In 2005, while still a student, he moved to the Hessische Landestheater Marburg, where he worked with directors such as Stephan Suschke, André Rößler and Fanny Brunner. His most important roles to date include: Wurm in "Kabale und Liebe", Cyrano de Bergerac in "Cyrano de Bergerac", Hoederer in "Die schmutzigen Hände" and Capulet in "Romeo & Juliet". In 2017, he developed the sound design and music for the play "20000 Leagues Under the Sea" at the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg.

Since the 2018/19 season, he has been a permanent member of the ensemble under the new theater management of Carola Unser and Eva Lange.

In 2009, he founded the ensemble Die Hörtheatrale in Marburg, where he directs, writes the texts and develops the sound and music. In 2014, he was able to win the Lomonossowkeller as a permanent venue. Die Hörtheatrale is regularly invited to various festivals (SherloCon Saarbrücken, Hörspielarena in Cologne, Nacht der Museen in Frankfurt). In 2018, the ensemble received the "Blue Carbuncle" award from the German Sherlock Holmes Society.
