Faris Saleh
Faris Saleh is a Palestinian actor, physical theater artist, photographer and video artist. He completed his acting studies at the Drama Academy Ramallah in 2014 and studied physical theater at the Folkwang UdK in Essen from 2017 to 2021. He won both the DAAD Prize for Outstanding Achievement by Foreign Students and the Folkwang Theater Prize.
Saleh works interdisciplinary as a performer, director and photographer in various projects on stage as well as for cinema, film and television. As a performer, he has appeared in award-winning productions on international stages and is a member of the theater groups Armada Theater and performing group. In 2020, he was invited to Zurich with his first short film "Surrah" at the Palestine Arts Film Festival. Faris Saleh has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg since December 2022.
