Nadja Duesterberg
Nadja Duesterberg was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1983 and works as a freelance actress/performer in NRW and Berlin. Studied interior design at the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden (2004-2007), then studied acting at the Siegburg Drama School (2007-2011).
This was followed by engagements in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Kassel and Bonn. She has been a member of the production platform ct201 in Cologne since 2015 and has worked regularly with the Subbotnik collective (FFT Düsseldorf / FWT Cologne / Theater an der Ruhr) since 2016.
In 2019, she created her first own performance (concept Michikazu Matsune) as part of "Homesick" at FFT Düsseldorf as part of the Nippon Performance Night. An international co-production with Jun Tsutsui at FFT Düsseldorf & Kyoto Art Center followed in the same year.
Plays in which Nadja Duesterberg plays leading roles have been invited to, among others: Mülheimer Theatertage 2018, Heidelberger Stückemarkt 2018, Augenblick mal 2017 & 2019, Westwindfestival 2017 & 2019, Spurensuche Berlin 2018. 2017 she receives the Performers Award of the SparKassenStiftung Köln.
