Philipp Koelges

Philipp Koelges, born in 1991 in Boppard am Rhein, studied jazz drums in Frankfurt am Main. During his studies, he began a close collaboration with director Swen Lasse Awe, which continues to this day. Koelges has been working as a freelance musician and composer since 2017. In addition to various jazz and pop projects, he has created stage music for productions by Swen Lasse Awe, Franziska Stuhr and Carmen Schwarz, among others.
In addition to drums, his musical interests lie primarily in the various forms of electronic music.
In the 2022/2023 season, musician Philipp Koelges will be working for the first time at the HLTM with director Maxime Morout on the play "der herzerlfresser"
