Thessa Wähmann
Direction
She was born in Berlin in 1992 and grew up on the outskirts of the city. After a few educational detours, her studies took her to Giessen at Justus Liebig University, where she studied German and art history. During her studies, she completed her first internships in directing and stage design at Schauspiel Frankfurt, which led to an assistantship at Staatstheater Wiesbaden in 2019.
From the 20/21 season, Thessa Wähmann will be an assistant director at the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg.
