An evening at the theatre goes wrong, over and over again. And again and again the actors try to save it. Between a yawning void, ambulances rushing past and the fear of insignificance, a profound yearning for connection pervades the air. One question arises: “Why is it so difficult to be understood?”. Yet, it’s not just this inquiry that fills the room, but also the ambience, the stage cues, the advertisements, even a snail—each element adding to the scenery both on and off stage.
