Classroom productions

Welcome to our second classroom-play following two girls, who meet despite having nothing in common. Sheltered girlie Jasmin has asthma and mourns her dead boyfriend Karl. Anorexic, suicidal and highly attractive Jule smokes, is cool and a freak. Jasmin is overwhelmed by Jule’s impudence and audacity. If you are open for an encounter which challenges all your prejudices and evokes the unexpected, enjoy one of the most stunning love stories from two youngsters on their journey into adolescence.

Trigger warning: In the production, the following possible trigger topics are clearly touched on or subtly narrated in individual scenes: Self-harm, eating disorders, suicide, death, body shaming and discrimination. Psychiatric experiences with doctors are addressed.

Why a trigger warning? Trigger warnings are intended to prevent traumatized people from being confronted with information that unintentionally triggers bad memories.

Trigger warnings warn of sensitive content that may trigger a bad memory in a person. Individuals can be triggered by certain scenes or images. This means that they are reminded of a trauma they have experienced or are taken back to bad situations. This can lead to anxiety or panic reactions. For example, there are trigger warnings for scenes that could potentially retraumatize people who have experienced violence. The announcement is intended to protect those affected who have experienced something depicted and associate negative feelings with it.

The trigger warning enables the audience to protect themselves and decide whether they want to experience the theater performance or not.
