Against the backdrop of a typical prefabricated housing estate in Eastern Germany, two teenagers fall in love. Paula, grappling with an unstable life at home and the weight of teenage pregnancy at 16, dreams of pursuing her studies. Meanwhile, Paul, prepared by his elder brother for ‘the world’, struggles to find his own path. As
they navigate the complexities of their different backgrounds, their emerging romance is further complicated by the growing demands of Paula’s studies. Seeking support in his brother’s social circle, Paul finds himself drawn into a world of violence. Amidst the chaos, only music holds them together. Can their love withstand the pressure of their environment?
