Amir Gudarzi / Heiner Müller
QUÄLBARER LEIB – EIN KÖRPERGESANG / BILDBESCHREIBUNG
Contemporary drama
In a captivating montage, Gudarzi seamlessly connects scenes depicting European isolationism with the pervasive impact of global ideologies. Though the lens initially captures the mundane existence of a minesweeper, we are progressively immersed into a broader narrative, guided to contemplate mythological archetypes such as Odysseus and Daedalus. In the form of a poetic correspondence and the attempt at a metaphorical context of reference, we also approach Heiner Müller’s “Bildbeschreibung”.
Another text full of poetry and destruction. An experimental arrangement. An arrangement of hope.
